App- My WOD. It's a Crossfit app. I love how it shows a graph of your progress.
Clothes- black compression leggings from Old Navy. They are thick, comfortable, and affordable!

Champion sports bras from Target and Nike shorts!

Clothes - Target has a high, wide waistband capri leggings that I love. The band doesn't roll down, which is important as my shirts tend to roll up during downward exercises like burpies. Here's a link.
Socks- I get blisters easily from shoes, so I always wear socks. My new favorite "fashion" athletic socks are short, but cover enough of my ankle to prevent my tennis shoes from rubbing on my skin.

My iPad with the Hulu app. The only way I can motivate to get to the gym is by telling myself Scott Foley will be there...
I am really picky about clothes. I like Lulu running crops and Old Navy Active tanks (the Lulu knock-offs, but made for people with actual boobs - unlike the true Lulus. )

HR monitor! Great motivation!
As far as clothes, Lulu is def my fave, worth the $$ for some staple pieces (crop leggings, tanks)

Clothes: Running skirts from Target (they have compression shorts under them so I don't have to suffer from chub rub), Feetures Socks, Moving Comfort bras, and my running shoes (Brooks Ghost)
Gear: My Garmin. I love that thing. Also, my handheld water bottle.

Podcasts!
Either a church sermon, One Bad Mother, Sawbones, or a comedy Pandora station (music makes me want to sing & doesn't help me, listen to others talk distracts me enough though.)
Also the Run keeper app Mrs. Bee blogged about. I love it! It helps me meet goals & shows me how much I have improved. And barrebody.com.au. I LOVE her barre &yoga videos.
Money is tight here & workout gear is expensive so right now I just use what I have. Old shorts, stained tank tops, cheap Walmart sports bra & several year old nikes. I really need new running shoes but it is what it is.

Earbuds: Bose! I have tried several different kinds (at all price points) and the Bose ear buds are the only ones that will really securely stay in my ears while either running/spinning/whatever. You don’t need to constantly mess with them or press them back in; they just stay in.
Clothes: I really like the Capri length workout pants from Gap. They have a nice wide band at the top which holds any muffin-top in. Their sports bras are fine; I think I prefer a Nike one I have, but the Gap ones were about $10 when on sale, so I can’t complain.
Pandora doesn’t work in my gym, so I just use itunes. My playlist of the moment contains:
Girls Chase Boys – Ingrid Michaelson
Holding out for a Hero (Bonnie Tyler) – really great for running
Mr. Saxobeat (Alexandra Stan) - *awesome* workout song, especially for spin
Radioactive (Imagine Dragons)
Wake Me Up (Avicii)
100% Pure Love (Crystal Waters) – really great for running
Single Ladies (Beyonce)
Thrift Shop (Mackelmore, remix)
In da Club (50 Cent)

@mrsjyw: What kind of HR monitor do you use? I've been considering one.

I have this sparkly velvet type headband that I *love* because it doesn't slip off my head! I won it from an Etsy shop but she has since closed down and I'm dying to find a replacement!!

When I run, it's my strava app. Under Armour sports bra is my favorite. Everything else I'm not loyal to.

Brooks Ghost shoes

Under Armour men's socks - women's are too thin!

-Running shorts that have the spandex shorts underneath so no thigh rub!
-These Old Navy workout tanks...they don't ride up and they're loose! http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=53934&vid=1&pid=939724112

-favorite clothing item: booty shorts...i heart my under armor heat gear. I'm also really partial to my lululemon Run Speed shorts in pink quarts (pink with a silver sparkly thread)
-shoes: Reebok Crossfit Sprints! These rock!
-app: Wahoo Fitness
-HR monitor: Wahoo Fitness
-pandora station: i use Fit Radio
-etc: Rogue wrist straps. These are the best. Ever since I started using them, they have helped SO MUCH when I lift. BIG fan.
-etc2: anti-chafing gel. For reals, how have I not known about this?!?!?!
-headbands: sparkly soul headbands! These are the shit.

@LindsayInNY: look up Sweaty Bands. I haven't tried them, but I think they are similar to what you are talking about.

@grizz, saved my legs on my 5K yesterday! I can't believe I've never used it before.

Nike dry fit shirts.. They are thin, wicks away sweat, and they are long and therefore flattering.
Oh, and I love my dark gray and fluorescent orange running shoes.

I am into the Gap fitness stuff because it's cute, but fairly inexpensive given how often they have 40% off sales. I will say, though, that almost all of my workouts are barre with a little bit of running. So really, my workout stuff doesn't experience a lot of wear and tear anyway.

Right now it's these maternity workout pants from Target: http://www.target.com/p/be-maternity-cross-over-panel-capri-pants-black/-/A-15583504#prodSlot=medium_1_3&term=bematernity

Workout clothes (Lulu), Pandora, and really good socks. The socks thing is weird, and I only have a couple of pairs I really like, that don't slip or slide or bunch in the shoes.

@Boopers: Ooh, awesome, thanks!!
@mrsjyw: Do you have to wear a chest strap with it or just the watch does it?
