If you wanted to take a trip to celebrate your anniversary or a "big" birthday (30th, 40th, etc.), what would be your ideal trip? Just you and your SO and say you were only going to be away for 3-4 nights (so no long flights to Europe or anything like that).

Riviera Maya, Mexico! We went there for our honeymoon and want to go back so badly!! It was just all around amazing!

We have done a four night trip to Europe before (tiring but very doable) so I would not rule that out for us. If it were a celebration for my birthday, I would choose Venice or Rome. If we were celebrating DH he would choose Vegas, without a doubt.

We went to Vegas for my 30th, it was awesome!! It's kind of the ideal location distance wise for us and I love pool time so we go every couple years. Plus the food there is awesome.
If we were kidless for another trip I would try Palm Springs depending on the season. Or a place where the food is awesome like SFO.

Probably NYC, it's only a 1.5-2 hr drive from us. In fact, I surprised DH with a weekend trip for his 30th. If we could fly, I'd go somewhere in Florida for the beach!

Only 3-4 nights? Probably Southern California....Disneyland, California Adventure, maybe a beach day.

I only ever crave travel that's beachy and relaxing nowadays. We're on the east coast so somewhere in the Caribbean would be perfect.

I'd want to get there as soon as possible, lay on a beach, go to a fancy hotel...so I'd be at the Ritz Carlton in San Juan.

Warm beach, all -inclusive resort. Between Mexico and the Caribbean islands there are plenty of options. Since I probably wouldn't plan on leaving the resort much, it wouldn't matter a whole lot specifically where.

We went to Mexico! Short-ish & direct flight from NY... All inclusive so no need to plan anything... We had a great time!

We went to the Viceroy Anguilla in February and it was incredible. It was only a 3-4 hour flight from NYC so it was perfect. That might be our new quick jaunt!
We also loved Cabo. -

Fountainbleu in Miami. Eventhough it's close going to Miami is like going somewhere far, far away once you hit the touristy beach area.

Anywhere with adventure! We love being active while on vacation. If not something adventurous, there has to be plenty of good food to grub on. We love eating so Seattle and San Fran have been our faves so far. We need to check out the East coast!

We'll be doing this in a few months in Turks and Caicos for our 5 year anniversary. I would also add getting a luxurious massage!

Ooh, this is tough, there are lots of places I'd love to see! I've really been wanting to go to wine country in California. I've heard it's beautiful and I love wine so I think that would be my pick. That or something tropical

Well, we aren't celebrating for us, but it will be our first getaway together sans kids. We're going to Vancouver and I'm SO EXCITED. It will be the first time we've ever gone on a flight together. Stoked.
