I took the test yesterday and mine is Receiving Gifts and Words of Affirmation. I'm not surprised.
If DH took the test, I'll bet money that it will be Acts of Service then Physical Touch.

I'm words which makes total sense to me. I was raised through praise (school & home) and I have to hear positive things over and over to feel validated, etc.
QT was a close second. I like gifts too not because of the gift, but the fact that he was thinking about me when I wasn't around...

@Mrs Green Grass: exactly. I think most people assume gifts means materialistic. Not the point at all in a relationship. I'm not looking for diamond earrings. I'm looking for double chocolate Milano while in the grocery store, flowers every now and then, a 12 pack of caffeine free Coke, etc.

Mine is acts of service and husband's is physical touch, which I guessed before he even took it. Poor guy is screwed right now with a wife that's completely touched out by a clingy toddler and a toddler who refuses to come near him and clings to me instead.

Mine is Acts of Service with Words of Affirmation as a close second. My husband's is Physical Touch with Acts of Service as a close second. Gifts is last for both of us. Our poor kid never gets any gifts!

Acts of service and physical touch for me. DH hasn't taken it but I know it would be quality time and then physical touch. We went through a rough patch a few years back because we don't have many common interest. It really bothered him that we didn't do more things together.

Mine is Words of Affirmation and DHs is Acts of Service.
I refer to these concepts all the time in our relationship! I know that giving him some kind words (my love language) won't mean nearly as much as if I do some extra chore around the house (his love language). And he knows that it means more to me if he gives me a compliment rather than take the trash out

I'd guess that DH's is Words of Affirmation and Physical Touch.

My husband tested as quality time and touch... but I KNOW he's acts of service probably more than those.

Mine is overwhelmingly Acts of Service. DH is Physical Touch.
@DillonLion: DH and I will remind each other of our love languages occasionally when things are a little tough! He knows that taking out the trash will mean a lot to me, whereas a nice hug/kiss from me means more to him. It's hard sometimes but I think knowing what each other needs is really important!

Mine is acts of service. I love it when DH does little things for me - prepares my dinner plate, brings me a glass of water, takes over a chore for me, etc. He's tied between quality time and physical touch which is tough for me because I'm not big on cuddling or massages or anything...

It used to be quality time. But now with two kids, Acts of Service by far! So funny how stage of life changes your view of things.
DH might be physcial touch/quality time. But maybe acts of service too!

Acts of service is first and then words of affirmation is second. Physical touch is last...I hope DH doesn't get physical touch as his #1!

Words of Affirmation, and Acts of Service and Receiving Gifts are tied for second. D's is definitely Acts of Service, followed by Words of Affirmation.
I used to be much more appreciative of Physical Touch, but honestly, with a very clingy preschooler and an infant who loves to be held I'm all "touched out" by the end of the day
