Mine's still at work...he probably won't be home until 10-11. I'm sad because he went in at 9 this morning, and won't see LO at all. And he was asked to work on Saturday. He'll be pushing 70 hours this week

Mine is working. He's law enforcement and they just had shift change so he's on graveyard shift now (9pm-7am). My least favorite shift.

Working till 11 but they sent him into Times Square for a story on the Boston Marathon bombers so he's definitely going to be late tonight.

Hubby worked from home today, so he's been parked on the couch since I got home from work at 4 pm. Now he's watching the beginning of the NFL draft (sigh).

@FutureMrsMcK: oh my gosh! What does your husband do for a living? Those are some rough hours!
My DH works 7-7, so he's about to get off work in a cole minutes. I like to have dinner ready for him when he gets home so then we can relax!

@MrsBrewer: He works for a bicycle/bicycle parts distribution company. They sell to independent bicycle retail stores (as opposed to big-box stores). Spring and summer are their busiest times of year, and because DH is part of the leadership team the hours are expected of him. Winter's not quite as crazy. He's not salaried, so it's great OT, but he barely sees LO (or me) during the week so it's a HUGE trade-off.

Mine is playing Call of Duty....he started a new job this week and has been working 24/7 trying to get up to speed. I think this is the first time all week he's taken some time for himself so I'm happy he is!

@FutureMrsMcK: I feel your pain! For 3 years DH worked between 60- 80hrs /week as a resturant/bar/banquet manager. He rarely got a 60hr work week. It was suppose to be seasonal and go down to 30hrs/ week during the winter but that never happened.
Now he does data analysis and business planning. We just back from dinner & he will be working the rest of the night. He has a test tomorrow for some professional certification of some sort so he has to catch up on the work he will be missing tomorrow.
