Walks in our neighborhood the day we got home from the hospital, and out to breakfast at 1 week old. It took me a while to get used to him fussing when we were out, but after a couple of months I got used to it.

We took #1 everywhere and from day 1, but it was May and beautiful out. I felt really good, so we took long walks every day and went out to dinners and took some baby classes and hung out with friends. Baby wearing made it all very easy! #2 was born in Feb. so we were a little more careful. We did take her to a protest at the capitol at a few weeks of age!

My girl came home from the nicu on day 5, and the next day we went to the dog park with her in the moby wrap. Then it was just on with life as usual - babies are so portable at that age. For months she was just my little sidekick, we did everything together.

Aside from docs. 7 wks grocery shopping.
We ran family errands before that where One of us would stay in the car.
I also had outings alone to keep stir craziness at bay.

I took DS to my sister's house when he was one week old....I desperately needed a change of scenery! Up until about 6 weeks we only took him to close family's houses where we knew there wouldn't be many germs (my parents, my in-laws, my sister's). Once 6 weeks hit, Target and Wegmans here we come!

We took her to the mall at 4 days old. She was very chill in her stroller and slept most of the time.
