Got my first flu shot ever in my life last week... Gotta do what you gotta do for a winter baby!

I'll get one for my toddler in two weeks at the flu shot clinic. Baby is too young. I need to get around to getting mine as well...

Hopefully my doctor will have them next week when I go for a check up. I'm assuming DD will have one at her 6mo appt in 2 weeks. They give them to babies starting at 6 months, right?

DH and I usually get them them. We'll be getting them when they are available. LO will be getting his at his 6-month vaccinations.
Last year my in-laws refused to get it, even though I requested that they do so as LO was due towards the end of flu season, because it was only 50% (or whatever) effective. My response: yeah, it's 50% effective, meaning you are protected from half the stuff out there. They were jerks about updating all their vaccines (and still are). I sent a PSA to them again this year, and haven't gotten a response to it yet. I'll bring it up when I see them next.

Anyone who already got theirs- do you feel like it made you extra tired? I always get a sore arm from it of course, but I'm trying to figure out if I feel so so tired right now because of the flu shot or because I'm 6 and a half months pregnant and have a 2 year old. Got it at my 27 week appt yesterday.

We did them right around this time last year but we will wait this year because we are going on a long trip soon.

I think I might go get mine today! Almost 33 weeks with this baby and I work with the public so I want to what I can to protect our health. DD's pediatrician will do a weeknight clinic and that's what we did last year. I will just have to remind DH to get his.

My lo's got theirs yesterday. Not sure when DH and I will get them. Within a month I'd guess

My teacher's union offers a flu shot for free in Oct so probably then. My husband already got his a few days ago. I'll try to bring my son this week.

I'll get mine next week and DH and the kids will get theirs when available to non Active Duty, which will probably be mid October.

I'll probably try to get mine this week or so, and then we'll get DD's at her brother's first ped visit sometime in October. She just had her 3 yo well visit but they only had the mist.

If I can get it at my 27wk appt next week I'll get it then, if not I'll call and make an appt. I'll have to call and make an appt for E (assuming they have them in already!)

LO has a well check in November so she'll get hers then. I'll get one whenever they are available at Kroger. DH will get his when/if I harass him enough to make it happen

DH and I will get them in Oct for free at work. e will get one at a flu clinic at her ped's next month. T will get one in mid Nov when he's 6 months old

I'm going to schedule DD's for sometime in early October and I'll probably get mine at a pharmacy around the same time. I don't like to do them too early because they do wear off eventually and the flu seems worse toward late winter/early spring here than in the fall.

Ds1 at his we'll check. Pedi said ds2 is too young this season. I will get mine at work in November or w ds1.
