R was playing on her tummy tonight and started doing pushup and the next thing I know she was almost on all 4's! I got it on video and send to DH and my Mom and they see it too. She will be 5 months on Sunday.
When did you LO get on all 4's? Then how much longer did they start crawling?
So not ready for crawling yet!

My kids were (are) both chubby so it took a while. I think M was 10-11 months old? J still hasn't gotten on all 4s!

Holy Moly! BabyGloss belly crawled before she really got up on all fours . . . probably at 9.5 months or so?

I'm curious too. L has momentarily too. Then plops back down. We're assuming he'll be an early crawler/walker. We all are in my family. I kid you not when I tell you my niece was the earliest WALKER at 7 1/2 months! Yikes!!! We are so not ready for mobility!!

Around 6 months. He started doing it around when he started army crawling. He's 7.5 months now and not crawling on all fours, but he rocks on them and does a combo of rolling and army crawling to get into everything. He can drag himself pretty quickly, too!

LO is 7 months and is belly "crawling" right now. He's only gotten up on all fours a few times and not for long. Go baby R!

M didn't do it until 8 months or so. She never army crawled. Rocked back and forth on all fours for two weeks (crying) and then started crawling at 9 months.

R just started doing this maybe two weeks ago? she can crawl backward now, but not forward!
ETA: that would have been at 6.5 months!

A got up on all fours a couple of weeks ago and started crawling last weekend. He's 8.5 months!

@MsLipGloss: @chopsuey119: well we will see if this is a fluke or not. I was shocked when she did it. Probably will be like rolling tummy to back. She does it once and then she is like I don't need to do it again Mom! She has changed so much in the month since we saw y'all last. BTW, we need to together this fall.

At 4.5 months dd spent a lot of time in plank position. By 5 she was kind of hurling herself forward. 5.5 she was army crawling and full on crawling a few days after that. At six months she became a speed demon.

7-8 months! That's really early! Hopefully it was a one time deal if you don't want her to crawl yet.
