Pete has absolutely no interest in clapping yet. I think he'll wave first because he at least attempts to wave back when I wave at him. When I clap, he just smiles like I've told the most hilarious joke....

My nannykiddo is 13 months and still doesn't really clap. Around maybe 9-10 months he excitedly started swinging his arms like he would if he was clapping but not really clapping with his hands. He uses signs, waves, and clasps his hands together but clapping just didn't catch on no matter how much I tried.

@Fronkinzankinsbride: This makes me feel better! M is 13 months and doesn't clap. She waves, points, all sorts of things. She's just not interested in clapping
