The thread about moving from 3 naps to 2 got me thinking! When did your LO start having a 3 nap schedule? I keep waiting for one to naturally evolve!
LO is 12w and her max awake time is 1-1.5hours and her naps are anywhere from 30mins-2hours. Yesterday she woke up at 7:30am and them napped from 9-10, 11-11:45, 1-2:15, 3:30-5:30 and 7-7:45. We do bedtime around 8:30/9. That's five naps!
Is my LO just really sleepy? Will I start seeing a schedule soon?

I've been wondering the same thing. Though I'd be lucky to get three naps out of my non-napper.

Around 6 months. From 4-6 months did 30 min naps and it suuuucked. Around 5.5 months he started taking a long morning nap and it made the transition to 3 natural.

We do 5 naps a day, too, because they're so short. Sucks! I'd be happy with 4 at this point!

@lawbee11: I'd be happy with 4 too! I'm hoping soon we can drop the 7pm nap and just go to bed earlier. I also wish there was some consistency in lap lengths!
I guess once LO can start staying awake longer we will get less naps!

@Foodnerd81: Same. I'm lucky if I get 2 naps. I keep trying to explain to him that babies are supposed to sleep. I even offered to video everything that happens while he is napping so he doesn't miss anything. Little punk won't listen!

At 3.5 months we nap-trained and it took a long time to get 3 good and established naps...I'd say at 4.5-5months.
