I was not anticipating tantrums to start this early! I have one independent, strong willed, feisty little dude.
When did tantrums start for you?

Umm I love you for starting this. G is already starting to voice her... displeasure with things. Take away mommy's necklace? Scream. Try to put clothes on her head? Scream and crawl away.
AGGGH!

@Bookish: Yes! B has back-arching, red faced, throw himself on the floor tantrums. It feels like if we try to make him do something that isn't "his idea" he melts down. Today, he threw a toy at me and hit me! It is both frustrating and hilarious.

@rahlyrah: I thought these weren't supposed to start for a few more months!? They are pretty hysterical though. We call her our 'little faker' because she'll start screaming about something (I took the remote away, for example) and then DH will walk in the room and she's allllll smiles. Little turd.

Real tantrums didn't start until 21ish months with DD.
DS is 14 months and so far so good.

She's not yet one and she throws huge ones. Arches her back, lays on the floor and kicks her hands and feet, screams bloody murder, and throws things. Gets over it quickly though.

In the womb?
The nos started around 11/12months and by 18 months I wanted to pull my hair out.
The kicking/screaming/throwing herself on the floor started just after her second birthday.

N has started screaming at me when he doesn't want what I'm feeding him. It's not that he doesn't want to eat, just that he doesn't want to eat peas, chicken, etc. I can't believe this has started already!

@Arden: That's what B does! At 8 months. I thought we had at least another year before this.

Some ffiesy behavior started around 8 ish months, but real true horrible tantrums started around 16 ish months. These things are epic! My lo is a drama queen !

Probably started around 10 months when W started hating diaper changes. The back-arching is the worst! If I don't hold him tight when we're walking down the stairs, he'll fling himself down. Ugh! Sounds like B is becoming one spirited little fella.

So hard to remember. Maybe 15 months for Olive? Later for Charlie.... closer to 2.

First tantrums maybe around 15 months. She would throw herself face down on the ground crying and yelling when things didn't go her way. Now at almost age 2 the tantrums have become more spirited. Oh the terrible twos...

18 months or so. Super tantrums for a month right after she turned two. She was sick most of that month though...
