I swear mine has already started! When did your LO start throwing them? And how did you know it was a tantrum versus something else like illness or teething?

We didn't have any terrible two's but the three's have made me question my sanity in having a second He never had any real issues as a little one and was never fussy. I am paying for that now with my second though haha
Liam started having real meltdowns at three but he is so much better now that we are nearing four. When he starts I remove him from public and he gets a serious time out and I do not give in to what he is wanting. Usually it's something material and it seems to happen at the grocery store more often than not. The people in the store should not be subjected to my child's meltdowns so I have left an entire grocery cart of items before and taken him out of the store and home for a time out! The last time he told me I was the meanest mommy ever and I had to cover my laugh Poor guy.

Before 1. I feel like it was a tantrum because she would throw herself on the floor and cry and she never did that before. And I couldn't figure out what was bothering her.

DD just recently started throwing small tantrums She is 10 months old. She hasn't thrown herself on the floor or kicked yet but she will cry & fuss & get angry if you take something away that she wants but as soon as she has it back she stops...INSTANTLY My friend & I were just discussing books about toddlers & tempers! I think I'd better order a book or two...

I think she started at 9 months or so. She's almost 1 and no more tantrums--they were short lived!

LO is 9 months and if he doesn't like something he'll grunt or growl, Haha! It's kind of cute actually :D. Also, I'm not sure if it's because he's sick right now but these past few days, he's been throwing his back while we're holding him. Hope it passes :(!

LO is almost 9 months and already has little fits if I take away something he wants to play with. He cries and flaps his arm until he gets it back or gets tired of being upset. I'm scared of what's ahead...

LO has teeny tiny tantrums, she's 7 months. If she doesn't get what she wants she throws her arms down and lets out a whine.

DS is 10.5 months and he has been doing them for a few weeks. I know they are a tantrum because if I move him from something he shouldn't be doing or take it away he kicks and screams, throws his head back or crawls with it downward and stomps his feet. I was just discussing books on the subject and need to get these under control before they get out of hand.
