We just started at 4 months with an Aden anais security blanket. It's crazy thin even wadded up do it doesn't freak me out when he wads it o er his mouth.

9 months, I think? He likes to chew on his lovey. I just recently started putting a thin receiving blanket in there as well as a couple toys. He just turned 1.

@sorrycharlie: we didn't have any luck with a sleep sack so we went to a sheet and wool duvet at about 4.5 months. I only use natural, breathable fibres that are well tucked in under the cot mattress.

@sorrycharlie: every baby is different. Do what you need to do so you and lo get sleep!

I started allowing it for naps at 4 months. I'd probably not worry abou the A+A blankets since they're so thin. You could try a security blanket (smaller) for her to grab on. A+a makes those too. That way she can hold something but you don't have to worry so much about it going over her face.

He sleeps with an A&A blanket. We just started last week. He loves his blankie! It's the only thing that's thin enough to not make me anxious. No blankets at night...just sleepers. It's hot here!

We probably never will in her baby age...toddler stage, sure.
He uses a&a and like yours, mine immediately puts it over the face!
