I'm 6 months pregnant and several people have commented that I'm getting "so close" or that I'm "almost there"... lol, I've still got 14.5 weeks! I certainly don't feel close. Maybe since it's 2013 and February, people see May as being pretty close or something. It's just funny to me because I'm not even 2/3 of the way through yet.
When did you feel like you were getting pretty close to your due date?

ha, people keep asking me this! i'm like, "no, i have 8 weeks to go..." I think i'll feel close when I have 4 weeks to go

My baby isn't due until the end of July but when I noticed it was 1st Feb I thought "Argh, how is it Feb yet? I'm so close!". Feb to May seems like a heartbeat to me!!! But when you mention that you have 14.5 weeks to go - well, that's the entire length of my pregnancy so far (including the bit before I ovulated!) - May suddenly doesn't feel so close!!

I didn't feel like I was close until my doctor told me that I wasn't allowed to travel for work anymore. I was so busy with work and preparing for the baby. Plus I carried pretty small so everyone was always blown away when I said that I was almost 8.5 months pregnant.

I feel close when I get 36 weeks. But then I'll keep telling myself I'll probably have 6 weeks to go yet, so don't get impatient, lol.

DS was born at 32 weeks, so this time around, when 32 weeks hit, I've felt like it could be any day. Also, once the time remaining went down into single digit weeks, that makes it feel so close!
I'm almost at 34 weeks, now, and I'm just uncomfortable, and it does feel close...closer than ever! And, it's hard to imagine what the next few weeks will feel like.

Haha, I am 38w and I still don't feel 'close'! I think the comments have to do with when your belly really becomes noticeable. People forget how big a 9 month pregnant belly really is! At like, 28 weeks some guy rolled down his car window and said I was 'about to pop!' Despite the rudeness, I laughed because I was like, no I'm totally not!

Starting to feel this way, 34 weeks tomorrow. So 6 weeks left to DD.

During the last month. Especially after 37 weeks and the baby was truly full term. Until then it still seemed like giving birth to a healthy baby was a long way off.
