I read it in sixth grade - I wouldn't want my LO to read it that young.

I first read her books in grade 8, I remember checking them out from the library.

If I had a daughter I wouldn't want her reading them that young.

@luckypenny: NO! It definitely is NOT a children's book! It's very dark with sexual and abusive themes.

Too young! I don't remember how old I was but I know I wasn't ready to read what I did ! I also don't remember the name of the story I read but it was a series where the main character was Dawn and she was either from or moved to New Orleans. I've wanted to go New Orleans ever since! She also fell in love with the man she thought was her brother growing up. That's all I remember.

Hmmm, I was probably in 7th or 8th grade. I had a whole pile of them. Probably a little early, considering some of her writing!

Middle School. They were so evil and dark! But alllll of my friends read them. I would want my LO to wait until Middle School.

Thanks for the reminder!! I love Heather Graham and am excited to see the remake. I read all the VC Andrews books in grade 7 and 8. They are so naughty! I'll be making sure my daughter does not read them that young!

I read them in the 3rd grade! I think I got Flowers in the Attic from the library and then my mom bought me the entire series. She had no idea! I still have them all!
