LO is 11 weeks & got a FP Rainforest Jumperoo for Christmas. She is small (23.5 inches, 11 lbs 3 oz) but has crazy good head & neck control & LOVES to use her legs. I thought I might try it next week after her legs feel better from shots, or is that too soon?

We never used a jumperoo, but started using the exersaucer at around 4 months old.
If you think your LO might be ready for it, I'd give it a shot. If you try and she doesn't like, you can always wait and try again. -
We started using it at 4 months, when she had enough head and neck control and leg strength. 12 weeks *might* be a little too young, but you could try and if it doesn't work out, try again in a couple wks

We didn't until she was 5 months and could sit up on her own. I think 6 months is the recommended age.

We started around 5 months and only for very short amounts of time...we didn't use it more often until she was tall enough without anything under her feet and was sitting with assistance.

We had the same one and Chloe loved it! I bought it for her when she was 5 months old. I had to put a pillow under her feet at first but she quickly grew into it.

Around 4 months.

We started at 4 months and he was a little young for it. He didn't really "get it" until he was closer to 5 months. We used a big book underneath for awhile until he was tall enough.

We jus got one and she is five months. She loves it! I have a couple of folded receiving blankets underneath right now and she can really get bouncing, but she also spends a lot time just playing with the toys. WE have the same fp rainforest one.

Around 5 months. LO is really tall and DH still had to build a platform so he could reach.

She was a little over 4 months. She is obsessed with it.

5 months but we could have probably used it a little sooner! Lo LOVES to jump. He will jump until he falls asleep. Even when he was only a few weeks old, he wanted to be bounced.

Around 4 months. She has long legs, but we still had to use a pillow under her. She didn't really enjoy it until around 5.5-6 months though. Then by 8 months she was totally over it.. ha!

4.5 months or so? It was nice to have another "landing spot" for them, even if they weren't very 'into' it. They weren't really big enough and we had to put a pillow under their feet, (which they inevitably kicked away and then were left dangling...kinda funny/sad). I'd say they really got the hang of it around 5 1/2-6 months, when they hit a big growth spurt and were able to hold their heads up reasonably well.

Thanks everybody! I think I will wait to get it out until she is 4 months. No use cluttering up the house with gear if she's not ready.
