The grapefruiting post made me ask. Just curious!
And in case you wonder what side of the fence I'm on, they asked at my 6 weeks PP visit if I had DTD and I laughed in her face and she said some people did. And without protection. And I laughed even harder. But maybe that's just me!

I got the okay at my 3 week pp visit. (Yea freaking right) we waited until 6 weeks pp and I wouldn't say it was a total success.

oH shoot I didn't see that "grapefruited" was an option! At least I'll know for LO2.
We were at 9 weeks.

We got the okay at our 6 week well visit and did it shortly after that. And it required lots of lube and was still pretty uncomfortable!

@Aandmklover: I had a traumatic delivery (well, for me... 5 hours pushing) so I think I have a skewed view on it! I wonder if I'll feel the same for future births! (Since ya know, I'm hoping future babies just slide right out.)
@delight: Obviously grapefruiting is the correct choice!

We tried around 10 weeks. I had a super super bad tear. IT KILLED! Haven't tried since because I found a lump up my vag 
which I think is some tissue that needs to be removed! Once I get that looked at we will try again.
Grape-fruiting until then, of course

I had a really traumatic recovery.... It was a long time. Poor DH. We found out about grapefruiting too late. Unfortunately.

4+ months after LO 1 and 7 weeks after LO 2. I had C-sections for both kids. (I tracked this very important info in Fertility Friend..haha)

I think it was around 4 months pp. Even though I had a c section it was still uncomfortable... Hormones maybe?

A little after 4 weeks I was so curious to see how it would feel and I will admit it wasn't too bad but we didn't do it regularly until after 7 weeks

We did right after I got the ok at my 6 week appt and have a few times since. Although we almost did at 9 days PP because apparently we are insane. Couldn't go through with it though because somehow I was convinced we would get pregnant (despite the IVF we did to get these LOs!). I had a vaginal and c-section birth (twin hazard), but didn't tear or anything so I think that helped keep things ok down there.

It took awhile. Can't remember exactly, but we were honestly just too tired to care! And the thought of LO waking up at any time didn't really add to the romance. Is it terrible that even now I would often rather just go to sleep?

8 weeks cause my husband was sick for a week after I got the all clear at my 6wk appointment. Felt like I was devirginised all over again. We've done it maybe 5 times since then (15 weeks pp).

We had the clear at 6 weeks pp but we attempted at 9 weeks and it was so painful, we stopped. I was very dry, nervous about my pp body, and we didn't have any lube at all (never needed it before). Sorry TMI. It got better and better though soon after that.

First time, we tried at 7 weeks and it hurt pretty bad. This time, I was good to go at 3 weeks and had no problems.
