I'm totally very early on in my pregnancy but I'm excited to have a baby bump. I know it'll take a while but I'm curious when you started to show?
I'm petite - 5'1" and about 105 pounds. Will I show later or earlier because of my size?

I'm almost the same exact size as you! Well not right now because I'm very pregnant I show very early because of my size. with my son it was around 3 months and the same with my daughter. Enjoy it!

Thank you and congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy! How exciting! I am a consignment shop whore haha:) I love them for maternity finds. I also LOVE motherhood.com because they have lots of petite clothing and also destinationmaternity.com for petite jeans. Have fun shopping!

I'm about 5'3" and 120 and def have a bump that is noticeable at 13 weeks. My doctor said mine is showing earlier because I have very long legs and very short torso, so there isn't much space to go but out!! My coworkers have commented on the bump, and I've mostly switched over to all maternity clothes. I love it!

I had a visible to myself bump at about 11 weeks, it turned into a visible to people that know me (family, co-workers) bump at about 15 weeks.

I hope I start showing early I'm guessing I will, I'm 5'1, 130. I have a very short torso, so I guess ill see!

I showed a little late. I would say not until 6 months did I start really showing.

@yoursilverlining: I'm the same way with long legs/short torso and I'm at 13 weeks tomorrow. My bump showed up the other day! I looked in the mirror and said, "whoah, where did you come from?" I can't wait until it gets bigger!! Right now you can only tell if I wear just a LS tee shirt and pants. I'm definitely in maternity pants already.
I'm so surprised that you can "show" without really gaining any weight. That amazes me.

If you are shorter or smaller body frame then you are more likely to show earlier because theres less room for the ever growing uterus in your body so it protrudes outwards. I'm 5ft 11 with a long torso and very slim and at 20 weeks my bump is very teeny and my doctors told me its because I'm tall with more room in my torso

Jealous of you petite ladies! Well, I am petite, height-wise (5'3") but my weight already makes me look 5 months pregnant. LOL. So I technically have a bump already (and have had one for the past 5 years... lol).

Unfortunately I gained a lot of weight. So I had a tummy bump pretty early, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't baby.

@mediagirl: Yeah, mine really popped all of a sudden too! When I walked in at Thanksgiving my mom was like “whoa!!!” and said she had never seen someone so big so soon (heehee, thanks mom!). Its noticeable in Thanksgiving pictures, especially from the side. I love the bump.
It is so weird about the weight. I lost some weight in my first trimester due to morning sickness, and I’m still 1-2lbs. under my pre-pregnancy weight, but I’ve def gained a bump and boobs, so where did they come from?!

Thanks, ladies, for your responses. I can't wait! I just hope this little one sticks around for the next 35 or so weeks

I'm wondering when I'm going to get a bump as well. I'm 11 weeks now and have not even the slightest hint of a bump yet. My tummy is a bit rounded now but it's not a bump. I'm 5'8 and 135 lbs but I am literally all arms and legs with a very short torso, so I thought I might show earlier... apparently not. Now I'm kind of hoping I'm one of those who can go several months before needing maternity clothes - right now, all of my clothes fit exactly the same as they did before and I'm kind of hoping that continues for a little while. We shall see!

@yoursilverlining: I'm the same way as well. When I was 8 weeks I had a bump. Now at 12 weeks I have strangers asking me how far along I am (I've lost 15lbs from morning sickness). I'm going to be a moose by the end of this lol

Mine's only now becoming visible/ obvious to people who don't know me now at 23 weeks, although only a few brave souls have said anything. I'm 5'10", but have a very short torso, so I thought I'd show earlier--nope!

I THOUGHT I had a bump at like 14 weeks but no one else did, lol, it wasn't until recently (like 20-21 weeks) that other people finally agree with me, lol.
I'm 5'8 but ALL legs (my torso is nonexistent) and quite thin.

@ALittleP: I am (or was) 5'2 and 110 lbs with a short torso and flat tummy pre-pregnancy. I had a small bump at 9 weeks that my family and friends noticed - and started wearing maternity pants then. I couldn't believe it. At 11 weeks the bump was very noticeable to family and friends and at 12-13 weeks to people at work. At 15 weeks, my stomach sticks out more than my boobs. Not sure if total strangers would notice or just think I had a large stomach!
I also have a retroverted uterus so not sure if that played a role in showing early.
