I learned to ride a bike when I was 5 or 6. It was a huge bike. My feet didn't touch the ground when I was sitting on it. I've only been iceskating once--when I was in 8th grade. Hated it.

We did all that when we were tiny. Especially because I have older siblings and I wanted to do what they do. We even ice skated, they have a rink in our mall.

I was 8 when I got training wheels taken off because for a few years I wanted to learn, but I couldn't (I had major surgeries and had a colostomy for 3 months).

A running joke in my family is about me learning how to ride a bike. My sister and I learned how at the same time (she was 5). We kept falling down, but my sister just got up and tried again. I, on the other hand, started getting mad and I kicked my bike really hard, several times. My dad (who is very light spoken and generally quiet) told me if I ever kicked my bike like that again he would take it away and give it to a little girl who would take care of it. This story got told at my wedding and every year at Christmas...

I was probably 4 or 5 when I learned how to ride a bike. I'm leaning towards 4 because I don't have clear memories of actually riding a two wheeler for the first time. I learned to roller skate when I was 4, but they only let me skate inside the kitchen when I was that young. They let me outside when I was older. I moved on to rollerblades in the 3rd grade or so. I learned to ice skate at 5 when my parents put me in figure skating lessons.
