LO is getting long and, even though she's only 3 months, she'll need a convertible seat sooner rather than later.
When did you make the transition?

I'm hanging on to it as long as I can!! So convenient when LO is sleeping!!! She's 27" and about 17 lbs at 6 months now.

i made the transition at 6 months....i missed the convenience of having him fall asleep in there but he got way too heavy!

With DD she switched over at 1 year and with DS (he is a big guy!) we switched over at 10 months ish. It was because he wasn't fitting in it anymore... But the infant carseat is so much more convenient.

She's still in it in my car - 9 months old, 29" long and 20lbs.

We just bought a convertible - LO is 4 months and 16.5 lbs/26 inches. He doesn't sleep through a transfer anyways (IF he actually falls asleep in the first place) and it's so dang heavy. We'll be switching after our road trip this weekend.. I don't have the energy to get it out of the box and fool with it ahead of time.

6 months. We probably should have given it up sooner though, LO is 90th percentile in height and weight so she was pretty big for it by then.

My LO is almost 6 months and we still have her in the infant carseat, I feel like she's too little for the convertible since she has a very skinny frame, but she's getting long so we will have to look before too long.

She's 9 months old today and still in the infant seat! I'm about to order convertible seats though. She's still juuuuuuust under the height limit.

LO is 7.5 mos and we don't plan to move him anytime soon. He still falls asleep in the infant seat and stays asleep during the transitions so I'm in no rush He's was 17 lbs and 26.5 inches at his 6 month appointment.

LO is 10.5 months and still in the infant seat! We just haven't taken the time to make the switch yet. She's about 17 lbs and 28ish inches long.

7 months!
My son is already starting to outgrow his infant seat, but I'm gonna keep him in it for as long as possible. He's at least 17lbs right now.

We've been dragging our feet even though LO is definitely ready! He'll be 6 months next week and he's about 19 pounds and 27 inches. I think we'll be switching sometime this week. He's just too heavy to carry around in the bucket seat!

He's 27 inches and 17 lbs (or more than that) and I'm ordering a convertible this week. He's starting to look super scrunched. He's 10.5 months!

We're going to be getting a car in the next few weeks, and when we do, I think we'll also get a convertible carseat to leave in there. LO is 5.5 months old and about 14lbs.

LO is 7 months, weighing in at 17.5 lbs and 27.25" in length, and we have no immediate plans to move him into a convertible car seat just yet. I imagine we'll take that leap around 9/10 months, as he approaches the 30" mark (we have the Chicco Keyfit 30 and will need to move him when he hits 30"). With that said, we're on the look out for new car seats as we speak. His infant car seat is super convenient right now, but that darn thing is getting HEAVY!!!

he's 10 months now and at least 22 lbs and tall. i REALLY should switch him out, but haven't gotten around to it! maybe this weekend?

9 months...she was 22lbs and 30 inches, so she had just met the height limit of our seat.

Next weekend. She is 10 months next week and 17lbs 3oz. It just arrived yesterday. Thought about switching this weekend, but decided to wait until next weekend.

We could have switched at 6 months, but my stubbornness had us switch when she hit the very max height at 10 months.

We purchased ours just after 9 months and I started using the one in my car then, but DH just finally installed his in his car at 10 months. E was 18lbs, 28 inches at his 9 months appt.

@Running Elley: What 6 months next week?! This means my babe is almost 6 months.
He's 5.5 months and still using the infant seat. I still can't decide whether to switch or not. He still fits in it ok and I still like to use the snap and go stroller, but dang the seat is heavy with him in it! We only take it out now if we're going to use the stroller.
