    I only have ever used my convertible!

    @IcebergMom: which one do you have? Was it easy for a newborn? We're considering this (when we ever get there, that is).

    10 months. DD was not approaching the weight limit, but she was very close to the height limit. We got the Britax Pavillion in the "cowmooflage" print. I love the cow spots!

    9 months since he was getting too heavy to lug around in the infant seat and his legs were also getting super long. We went with the Britax Boulevard. We have a Honda Civic and having the Britax rear-facing does make the passenger seat leg-room cramped. I fit okay but if I'm driving and my husband or sister sit in the passenger sit, they have little leg-room. Other than that, we love the seat. We only have one for now as my car is the main transportation when LO is with us, but my husband can move it over to his car in less than 10 mins.

    @dagret: do you like the diono? Was it difficult to install in your car? I think we're leaning toward this...

    Gosh, I don't remember exactly; I know it was beginning of winter because I didn't like how cramped she looked with her winter coat on. So maybe around 8 months? We got the Britax Marathon 70.

    @dagret: are you using the convertible with L now and how does he like it?

    Which one is smaller, the Britax Marathon or Boulevard? We have a Britax (I think Marathon?) waiting for when LO transitions to a convertible but I'm worried it won't fit in our small car!

    @coacheswife123: we have a diono radian in L's truck and so far have only used it once - he cried the whole way from daycare, but he does that in his infant seat sometimes too. The dionos are supposed to be the most comfortable for tall babies/kids so you might want to consider that seat!

    I just ordered a recaro proride for my car for later bc it was in the amazon mom sale and super cheap.

    @hilsy85: my husband said it was really easy to install. So far L's only been in it once.

    @dagret: oh ok! A lot of reviews say it's hard to install, so good to hear that it wasn't!

    @hilsy85: Forgot to add (and too lazy to edit my post) that its in an f150 crew cab. I got the diono angle cushion thing and it fits in the backseat much better than it normally would without it.

    @dagret: ok so I think we'll order the angle adjuster thing just in case...if we don't need it we can always return it. I think we'll pull the trigger on it this wknd!

    @dagret: that's what I'm thinking. At 4 months J is about 16 lbs and 26in . I'm kicking myself for buying an infant seat

    My daughter is 9.5 months and I'm ready to get her out of infant seat. My mom has a Britax convertible in her Subaru that she uses with DD- but her legs are SO cramped. Are all Britax seats like that?? I was leaning towards a Britax Advocate, but it just seems cruel for her to be so smushed.

    @hilsy85: just as a data point for you, the Radian fit fine in our Hyundai Sonata without the adjuster, but we did have to get one for our CR-V, go figure.

    @Mrs. Yoyo: hm thanks! We're getting an acura mdx..it seems like it should be roomy??

    @coacheswife123: J is going to be super tall like his daddy!

    @hilsy85: that's what I had figured. It's only $11- but I'm glad I got it.
