We just moved E last week at ~6.5 months. His feet were sticking out of the infant seat so much and he just seemed uncomfortable in it, so we bit the bullet. It made me a little bit sad to put away the infant seat!

I'm starting out with a convertible. I hated lugging the infant seat around with ds, so I'm not dealing with it this time. We just skipped that step and we're going straight to the convertible.

9 months. But she is small......16 lbs. We could have waited longer.

E is 9 months and still fits in his infant seat. He's 18.5lbs and still fits lengthwise. It's just more convenient to use the infant seat because DH drops off at daycare and I pickup, so we can leave the seat there. We're going to have to switch soon though.

We are holding out as long as we can. LO is almost 9 months. Our infant carseat goes to 30 lbs. LO falls asleep in the car, so it's nice being able to take him out of the car and let him keep sleeping.

We moved him to a convertible carseat at 5 months, he really hated the Orbit infant carseat, plus his feet was sticking out.

We just moved her last weekend at almost 6 months. Although we put her in her infant car seat last night for a meeting we had to go to, because it was just easier.
