With #1, I packed it and had it in my car by 38 weeks. With #2, I'm thinking I'm going to pack it tomorrow (36 weeks) because I seriously think this kid is going to be early.

Mine was packed at 36 weeks because my OB said I was effaced and dilated! Totally thought I was gonna deliver early.

@Rubies: I'm sure your #2 will come FAST once you go into labor!!!

Um, DH packed it while I was in labor (at 39 weeks). Oops. To be fair, he kept asking me to pack it in the weeks before... procrastination for the win!

@Rubies: you must be reading my mind. I was just thinking about this this morning!

I packed at 36 weeks, but kept adding and removing items over the next...six weeks. I was induced at 41+6, and packed about sixteen pounds more than I needed. I'll be smarter about this with #2!

I think I was all ready to go around 37 weeks for #1, but I didn't really pack ahead of time for #2. I knew that I really didn't need all that much and could do it quickly. I packed my older LO's bag way ahead of time, though. She would've stayed with my in-laws or friends if I went early so I wanted her things to be in order.

Around 37 weeks I think. I used like, 4 percent of what I packed. And I labored at home for like 20 hours- I probably had time to pack then.

Haha, while I was in labor after my water broke. I'll probably do the same this time around.

I had a detailed checklist written out and stuff like clothes for him packed at 38 weeks but I didn't pack the rest until I was in early labor. I put the last few things in there a few minutes before we went to the hospital.

With #1, by 37 weeks. With #2, by 33 weeks (I had major BH contractions all the time and I thought I was going to go early but nope).

DH was obsessed with getting the bag packed early. I can't quite remember what week but it was done way ahead of time (he literally had a laminated list - what a nut). I ended up being admitted to the hospital at 35+5 and delivering at 36+0. I suppose he can say he told me so!

I think 35 or 36 weeks. A close friend had a baby at 37 weeks today (this was her second, she had her first at 38 weeks, so she knew this one would likely be early too), so it's definitely better to be prepared!

38 weeks. We were out of town for Christmas and I didn't want to get stuck at a random hospital without my bag. It stayed in the car until I delivered.

35ish weeks. I'm a planner. It wasn't 'completely' packed until my water broke though. We had last minute things to add.

I packed it after the first round of cervical ripening during my induction. So I guess that was 39 weeks. I was in denial that the induction was actually going to happen. I was planning on being at least a week late.

I packed it after my water broke at 36 weeks. My goal this time is to be ready by then!

I packed soo early with my first... like at 32 weeks! I didn't pack until 38 weeks with my 2nd. I was a lot more relaxed because I felt like I knew what to expect the 2nd time around.
