I started in my mid-30s. I tried it in my 20's but really fell in love after my daughter was born.

I loooove the smell of coffee but I just can't drink it and it makes me so sad. It's too acidic for me and it upsets my stomach.

My first year of university. Didn't take me long to become an addict..

When I got my drivers license I used to pick my friend up in the way to high school and stop at Dunkin Donuts for coffee almost every morning. I wouldn't say I got addicted until college though.

9th grade.
I was so excited when I got my license so I could stop and get a coffee before school.

Some time around 13, but I didn't drink it regularly until college. College is also when I started drinking coffee black - before that it was almost always some kind of latte.

Not until after college- well, like 22, I think? I was a health nut that didn't believe in caffeine prior to that.

High school. I didn't like eating breakfast, but my mom wanted me to drink something with milk in it so I'd at least have something in my stomach. Started with hot chocolate and that quickly turned to coffee.

After a terrible breakup in my mid-20s made it hard to stay awake at work. Didn't fall in LOVE until a trip to Panama in 2010 when I tasted my first ever FRICKIN AMAZING cup of coffee

After college - 22 or 23 I think? It was when I had my first full-time job and was coaching a high school sport in the afternoons/evenings. So I'd have to get to work at 6 am. I started drinking it at little at a time and now I'm an addict.

16! Once I started driving to school in the morning instead of taking the bus, I needed the caffeine to help wake me up.

I started in my 20's. I like drinking my coffee black and prefer french press at home. Nothing quite compares. I don't drink often, fearing that I will be addicted.

High school, but not really seriously until my early 20s. It doesn't do much for me (I only drink about a mug a day right now), but I find the ritual of making it very soothing.

When I was 15. I have always LOVED the smell, I tried it when I was 10 and didn't like it at all. At 15 my mom made me a cup and I had some with her now and then on weekends. In University I started drinking it every day. I only have a cup or less a day though. That's enough to wake me up.

I drank it socially/occasionally in high school, like, "let's meet up for coffee!" But not daily.
I started drinking it several times a week when I was 18-19.

I didn't drink it daily until my mid-20s. I gave up caffeine a few years ago and only drank decaf. Since the change to DST my toddler has decided to get up early and I've been having a little caffeine to survive!

I voted high school, because you don't have earlier!
I'm originally from Seattle, and my friends and I all started probably 7th grade.

20's. I usually drink the frap stuff in HS/college. And if I really needed energy in college, I drank energy drinks (they were all the rage and campus always giving our samples).

I've always liked the taste so would ask to have some when I was really little - like 6. It would be a little coffee with a lot of milk and some sugar. I started drinking it regularly probably in late middle school.

Maybe 6 or 7. By 4th grade my dad brought me a cup every morning to wake me up.

My dad's family is coffee obssessed and they used to give us "coffee" (a little coffee, sugar, and lots of milk) when family members were over probably starting between 7-8. I started drinking it regularly in college.

I had tried it when I was in school but I was always a tea drinker..... until my early twenties. Back then I was partying hard and used to drink it at work to disguise the smell of stale alcohol on my breath *cringe *. After a while, I started to like it.

Everyone who drank coffee before they were 10 are hardcore! Hahaha. #goals
I started when I was 25. I have a love/hate relationship with it, but I just can't quit.

I voted I don't drink coffee. I do drink it sometimes, but not every day and I don't need it to feel awake or anything. I remember when I was a kid, it was still the ethos of "coffee stunts your growth" so it was definitely viewed as an adult beverage. I hope my LO doesn't try it too early, I don't want him dependent on it!

I haven't drank hot coffee in years; I used to do iced but stopped that too. Now I just stick to boring old tea.

Middle school! By high school, I took a travel mug of coffee with me every morning haha. I worked in a coffee shop when I was 16 too so I got a free drink daily.

Consistently? Mid 20s. I started drinking coffee sporadically in high school though.

In high school I went to coffee houses but drank tea. I guess in college.

Had my first tastes of coffee in college, made it a regular habit when I got my first office job, but didn't *seriously* ingrain it into my routine (to the point where I have it even when I'm at home) until I was almost 30 I think. I abstained entirely for my mid-20s just because I didn't have a convenient way to get it in grad school and got out of the habit.

Junior year of high school. Started with blended ice drinks and graduated to "real" coffee by freshmen year of college. I've drank at least a cup a day for the last 15 years.
Mmm. Coffee. Oh how I miss thee.
