When did you start having prenatal appointments that are 1-week apart? Where do you live and what did they check?
I'm especially interested in hearing from our Canadian mommies and mommies to be.

I started at 35 weeks. I live in a town about 20 mins away from my OB and hospital. I am about less than 2 weeks away from delivery. I am also having a scheduled c-section, so no GBS swab and no internal checks. Just a quick BP check, a measurement of my belly and listen for the heartbeat.

36 weeks as well. they still checked the same things urine, blood pressure, weight, fetal heartbeat. At 38 weeks I had an ultrasound and at 39 weeks I had my first cervical check.

They have me scheduled for every 2 weeks now until a week past my due date. I live in Sweden and after checking with a friend that gave birth a few months ago, they never schedule weekly check-ups here ... the most frequent is every 2 weeks.
I was feeling a bit uneasy because of it, but I guess that's just how it's done here =/
