So I'm almost 26 weeks and this weekend I got the crazy cleaning bug! I re-organized our entire office downstairs and every time I walk by it makes me happy to see everything in it's new place. Nesting already? When did you start?

It's starting to hit me, I think! I am feeling the need to organize.

I need my house clean and organized all the time so that part didn't really change when I was pregnant. I could tell that I was nesting at 34 weeks when I made a crazy amount of freezer meals in one day to prepare for baby's arrival. I kept talking about making them all week and it was all I could think about. I HAD to do it. Even though I was physically exhausted I got a surge of energy and cooked/prepared all day.

29 weeks and still haven't. Wishing it would because my house is a wreck.

It hit me hard at about 30 weeks - like repaint the lounge and plant flowers in the garden style hard!!

35 weeks when my OB threatened to induce me. We had NOTHING ready!

I think around 30 weeks I went through all of the baby clothes and tried to get it all organized. I need it to hit me again because our house is chaotic.

I think I already am at 29 weeks! Ever since 24 weeks I've had a compulsion to get things sorted though, I think it's just inherently my personality LOL

With #2 I was basically insane nesting from 28 weeks on. Crazy insane nesting.

I'm 24 weeks and it's kicked in the past few weeks! I've been organizing the clothes we have, clearing out clutter and cleaning/organizing all the stuff I've been meaning to get to for months. It feels so good!

My due date is Sunday and I still feel no need to clean or organize anything when I could just be sitting on the couch!

Erm... as soon as the morning sickness ended?
I painted our bedroom, bought a chest freezer and completely filled it with homemade meals, cleaned and organized my van to the point that the midwife called the whole office out to see it (I had a color coded system of emergency supplies in the back. Everything you could possibly imagine).

#1- never!
#2- about every other week. Everything it's bothering me right now.

I've been nesting since the first trimester exhaustion went away! I reorganised all of LO's baby stuff and have everything organised into crates, all clearly labelled and just ready to be pulled out - 'pre-baby' (stuff to get out before baby arrives), newborn clothes, newborn essentials, 0-3 gender neutral, 0-3 girl, etc....
I'm already a bit anal retentive about the house so that's no different, but I've become little miss crafty as well! I made LO a felt tree with ornaments that were way too elaborate for a 17 month old, am currently working on an insanely intricate stocking for DH, and have already purchased the fabric to make the new baby bunting after I finish the stocking. Nesting is seriously out of control.

I'm 35 weeks, and I'm not really nesting. I'm a pretty lazy person though (read: I enjoy sitting on the couch in the evenings), so I wasn't really expecting to get a crazy nesting instinct.

My nesting really kicked in during the second trimester. I was cleaning and organizing every room in the house like a freak! It's tapered off now, though at 29 weeks since I'm starting to get tired. Nursery furniture is being delivered Friday, though so I'm excited to decorate! I'm definitely glad I got a huge amount of organizing/cleaning out of the way early on - now it's just a matter of maintaining. I think we'll bring in a housekeeper in January every few weeks so I don't have to clean.

The nesting bug apparently bit me yesterday at almost 24 weeks
I wanted to do a simple thing like vacuum the floors, but apparently there was a clog in my vacuum's hose. So, I took apart the entire vacuum to clean it, randomly scrubbed the kitchen floors, swept and vacuumed the entire apartment, and rearranged the bathroom. This morning, something fell out of the hall closet, and as I was putting it back, DH said to me, "would you please stop nesting??!!! You're cleaning everything in this house to within an inch of its life."
...whoops...
