We're not planning anything extravagant so it'll probably be a while longer (E is 7.5 months old) but a friend of mine who's LO is two weeks younger than E is already planning!
When did you start planning on LO's birthday party?

I'm so late, but I just started planning. She will be 1 in 6 weeks!

I started planning ideas when she was in my belly. But I didn't start actively doing and buying things until she was 6 months. I did a lot of DIY (including making 97 tissue paper flowers) and it took a long time to do all of that while watching a baby all day long.
LO is 20 months and I just started to DIY for her 2nd birthday. Instead of tissue paper flowers, this year I"m DIYing a million felt bows for her bow themed party

LO is 10.5 months and we just started planning - but honestly, we are doing a simple backyard BBQ with an e-vite so there won't be much planning involved!

He will be 1 April 18th and I've been planning since January.

LO just turned 7 months this week, and I've been pinning ideas for his bday party on Pinterest for about a month now. I plan to really start planning when he turns 9 months in May (he'll be 1 in August).

I'll probably start planning in late May (looking out for post-Memorial Day deals for cups/plates/etc. and other "stuff"). LO's bday is mid-July.

I kind of started planning about a month or two ago. We've looked into ideas, decided on some things, and bought a few decor items (and I'm going to buy more soon). She'll be 1 in July so DH keeps reminding me that we have four months. I just feel like I'd rather get a little at a time then have to go out and buy everything all at once!

I started thinking about it and mentally planning when she was 3 months old. I think I started my DIY projects when she was 6 months old?
