DS is 7 months old and we have just been putting socks on him for outings, or barefoot when the weather rarely allows. But when I see pictures on Facebook of babies in the same age range a lot of them are wearing shoes? When did you start consistently putting shoes on LO?

LO didn't wear shoes on a regular basis until she started to walk. Before that, when she was crawling and cruising, I'd put on Robeez. But from 0-9months, she just wore socks.

ds is 8 months and still in socks or barefoot all the time. we've put shoes on him for the cuteness factor but they never last very long. i was actually just wondering when i should start buying them. he's pulling himself up on everything now and cruising, but then again, i don't let him crawl around and climb things in public so it probably doesn't matter.

We just started keeping Robeez on LO in the past month since she's cruising everywhere. I don't want her to slip, and she peels socks off at the first opportunity. She's almost 11 months.

Around 6 months. LO would take his socks off at daycare and I didn't want him getting sick. Shoes stay on his feet much better than socks. Now at 10 months he is starting to walk so he's definitely wearing shoes.

When it got honestly cold last winter. She was about 12 months then, but not walking at all. She just seemed a big old to have just socks on. But not before that.

Around 12 months, we had no need with our mild winter though. It has been a constant battle until right around 14 months, now he loves shoes and brings them to me to put on. Good timing, because he is starting to walk now!

We just started putting DD in shoes when we leave the house. She's starting in the next room at her daycare next week, and she'll need to consistently wear shoes in there. I bought her a pair of soft-soled See Kai Run shoes, which are working out really well so far!

just socks and barefeet at 10.5 months... hopefully soon! he has fat little feet and i'm thinking sandals or something like that for summer

She didn't wear shoes until she was walking. I think shoes are uncomfortable so I didn't want to make her wear them.

5 months...I noticed no babies at daycare were going barefoot so I put him in shoes daily. They stay on way better than socks.

Crawling she wore robeeze to school (8 months).

At 7 months when the weather got cooler. His socks never stayed on so shoes helped that when we were out and about.

My LO is 7 months and we don't even have any shoes for him as of yet. He still wears socks everywhere we go. Once he starts cruising, I imagine I'll start putting shoes on him when we go out. For now, socks work just fine for us.

We are going to buy him his first pair of real shoes this week and he is 13 months old. I waited until he was walking consistently.

8 months now and still only socks. He only wears shoes when dressed up, which has been maybe 10 times ever
