Both my mom and MIL say they didn't show with their first pregnancy until they were 7-8 months along (uh huh) but they said they popped around 3 months for their second pregnancy.
When did you start showing?

I started showing around 20 weeks for all 3 of my pregnancies. I don't think I am showing any faster or any bigger now than I was with the first two. There was a gap between my pregnancies though (6 years and now 3.5 years).

@autumnlove: My doctor said when women have babies super close together (like us it's really common for the abdominal muscles and uterine muscles to be still stretched out and pretty quickly go back to their pregnancy shape. I was literally only 6 weeks and looked like I was 4 months pregnant, but I guess it's normal. When I finally told people at around 11 weeks, everyone was like, "Yeah, we've known for a couple months now." Lol!

I hope I don't thread jack, but has any gotten pregnant soon after a late term loss? I was already showing at 20 wks, but it's been about 5 months. I'm not pregnant yet, but I was wondering how soon would I start showing the 2nd time around. I don't want to announce it too early-i want to keep it quiet as long as possible whenever it does happen.

@Jennimac: not at all the same thing, but my brother & I are only 18 months apart, my mom told her family she was pregnant at Christmas and I was born in April, so she was 20+ wks and seeing her family regularly and no one had noticed, and she's skinny. So lots of women show earlier with subsequent pregnancies, but not all are super early or before they're ready to announce.

@mrs. bird: that's good to know. I have a pretty short torso, but we just don't really want to say anything until we are past 20 wks or so.
