Just like @Artbee, we also moved to a new home when I was just about 8 months pregnant. In addition to sorting out the unpacking (which has been a long and painstaking process), we needed to think about the nursery which has taken more time than I had originally thought it would. At 34 weeks, we are nowhere close to being "done." We have our crib (no mattress yet), our dresser/changer/ and a few baby items, but that's about it! We have opted to decorate more fully after the baby arrives since we are Team Green but would like to have some order to the nursery in the next few weeks.

I am jealous of all of you whose nurseries are ready to go!

@Meggo5: I was very surprised, but our nursery was still done before the baby came (at exactly 40 weeks). Well, all but the crib. We didn't want that put together yet because of a Jewish superstition.... but our LO slept in a bassinet at first anyway so that wasn't a big deal to me.

i'm having a hard time figuring out when i want to get things together because our nursery is also our office and closet. (2nd bedroom, small cottage closets means we added a huge wardrobe that takes up a wall!)

our friends are giving us a crib, but we need to paint it and i'm undecided on when i want to push to get it done. i'm 24weeks now and don't really feel a rush...

@oahujeni: I love the mobile! Where is it from?

I'm 20 weeks, and we have yet to start. We've talked about paint colors and (probably) picked them out, but now we're just on the stage of (slowly) cleaning out the room from its previous use. It's also been a really busy month for me at work, so I think in the next few weeks, as things go back to "normal" at work, hopefully I'll have more time and energy for baby things!

@jessibee: thanks! I made it out of paint sample cards. There are a ton of tutorials on pinterest if you look for "paint chip mobile tutorial"
