We're flying home for a few weeks when LO will be 4.5 months. I really don't want to take our regular stroller, and am hoping to just use a reclining umbrella stroller. Would she be too young? She already has excellent head control now at 2 months.

My umbrella is arriving today! LO is 6 months and sits up on her own.

Neither our travel system or umbrella stroller lay completely back. I think we started using the umbrella around 6m when LO had good head control.

We used our Bugaboo Bee at 6 months. Before that, we use the infant carrier + snap n go.

Thanks everyone! So, I guess it looks like our regular stroller is the best bet, but I have one more question. If the umbrella stroller has a good recline, babe has decent head control, and we use some kind of insert or head support, could we use an umbrella stroller then?

Some moms use umbrella strollers from birth, so I would try it, especially when dealing with an airport.
