There was a dollar jean day at Goodwill when I was around 5-6 weeks, and I bought a bunch of maternity jeans. I figured worst case if things went badly I'd make my husband take them to a consignment store and I'd use the money to buy wine and chocolate. I'm now 9 weeks and every time I see them in the closet I wonder when it will be time to bust them out. Definitely not yet! So when did you first give in and wear them?

27 weeks with baby #1 and 14 weeks with baby #2.

Nine weeks. I had one pair of work pants that fit, so I busted out the maternity slacks. It was really cold that week and my regular pants were patterned, so there was no way I could get away with he same pair five days in a row.

haha I think I was all of 9-10 weeks

Not until 26-27 weeks for me, and even then, I didn't really have to - I was just going to a buffet for dinner and wanted to be comfortable.
I say wear them as early as you want so you can get a lot of use out of them. If I had known how much I'd love wearing them, I would've started wearing them much sooner!

I started alternating between paneled pants, and regular pants about 16 weeks in. I was so over the god damn hair tie trick by week 20, so I just gave up, entirely.

Around 15 weeks. I couldn't handle pressure on my stomach, I'd feel sick, so I busted out the maternity pants and am glad I did.

I think around 14 weeks or so? Like @MapleMoose: I really couldn't handle anything squeezing my stomach. It was still all bloat, not bump, but it was so much more comfortable than my unbuttoned regular jeans.

As soon as I bought my first pair of pants last pregnancy at 11 weeks I put them on and never looked back! The jeans are actually very stylish and wore them a lot postpartum!

Around 13 weeks - but I was a bigger girl to start with and they were really comfortable!

around week 12. I have a short torso and my jeans didn't fit pretty quickly! I also didn't really like the belly band.

I started wearing the demi panels around 11-12 weeks. They were so comfortable compared to my regular pants... I say give in whenever they fit well enough

Around 20 weeks! Once I started I didn't know why I held off so long!

I think I was 14-15 weeks. I probably could have gotten away with the hair elastic trick for a few more weeks but maternity clothes were soooo comfy.

About 14-15 weeks with #1 and well....I was still wearing some when I got pregnant with #2....so immediately haha I never lost all the baby weight from #1 and got pregnant at 6 months pp

Omg I can't believe all the people who could wait so long to wear them. The bloating was so bad for me that I had to wear them around 10 weeks I think.

I tried them on at 12 weeks because normal pants are uncomfortable, but they were still too big on the belly. I probably stretched them out too much in my last pregnancy.

I started wearing a belly band around 11 weeks I think, and then the normal maternity pants around 20 weeks. Sooooooo much more comfortable! And I'm still wearing them now... 14 weeks postpartum... ooops.

I think about 4 months? Some things like paneled skirts, I could wear earlier. But pants are hard to stay up without the belly so those were later for me.

8 weeks! NO SHAME. I was sick for well in to the second trimester and any kind of waist made me feel like it was pushing food up out of my stomach. Even demi low panel. Full panel pants were the trick. I say if it feels good do it.

14/15 weeks? They're pretty darn comfy and help accentuate your bump!

I started wearing paneled dress pants around 16 weeks to work because they were soooo comfortable! Around 20 weeks I started to wear the jeans.
I got bloated pretty darn fast...
