I am 25 weeks, we are hoping to get paint this weekend! Our nursery was our office, so after the gender scan at 20 weeks we started cleaning office stuff out and looking at bedding and colors and stuff. We still need to move the desk out, then hopefully paint soon, then move in furniture (hand me downs for the most part)! I can't wait!!! DH's co-worker is due a week after us and their nursery is already DONE!

We started painting when I was 25 weeks. It has literally taken every single week since then to finish it--and I'm now 40+2!
Have fun!

we started around 20 weeks when we found out the gender - I didn't let us buy anything before then. we didn't do a ton since we live in an apartment, but worked on the furniture, picked fabrics for my mom to make bedding, etc. it was a lot of fun to start early and then just keep your eye out for special things.

We started almost right away ONLY because the room designated as a nursery had been out catch all room since we moved in the house two years prior.
We cleaned out the closet, removed the furniture in there then did nothing until we knew what the gender was at 18 weeks.

Umm with my first, I waited a long time (until I was 38 weeks) because I was positive I wouldn't go until my due date and I did. With my second, she shared a room with B so there wasn't much I could do but get her crib and dresser ready - which was done by 35 weeks.

We'll start painting at 26 weeks. Furniture is shoved in the hallway until then.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and my husband wants to start already! I think he's worried that with twins they may come early, or I might have to go on bedrest and he'll have to make all the decisions himself. However, like @Mrs. Jump Rope: we use that room as a sort of catch all. So the sooner we get cleaning all the clutter out, the better.

We'll probably start after we find out the gender and the basement is more finished! The current room has a lot of crap in it that needs to be moved out, but we need the basement done so we have somewhere to put it all!

I started cleaning the room around 25 weeks and we painted it when I was 31 weeks. Then finally setting up around 34/35 weeks. It wasn't complete until 39 weeks though, the day before I went into labor!

My parents were visiting and wanted to help out with stuff around the house when I was about 17 weeks, so my mom painted the nursery for us. We'd already gotten the glider (floor model from a local baby store and heavily discounted, so we couldn't pass it up) and had a rug that just needed to be rolled out, so it really started to look like a nursery around then. We put the crib together a few weeks later but still haven't gotten the mattress, and I painted a tree mural on one of the walls a couple weeks ago. So it's taking shape, but very slowly...I'm 29 weeks now so I guess we should get moving on some of the remaining projects/purchases
ETA: we're team green so we had no reason to wait until the anatomy scan to start on our nursery.

We moved into our new house at 25 weeks so I didn't even start until at least 27/28 weeks.
