Hair balls everywhere! When did your hair loss taper off?

5 weeks PP and no hair loss yet!
I did just chop 14 inches offt though.

DS is 14 months old and I lose 5-10 handfuls of hair every day! It is ridiculous! I can't wait for it to stop! I hope it comes soon! I'm not sure if it's because I had really thick hair to start with. I can't believe I have any hair left!

It stopped coming out in clumps around 5m pp. Now it's starting to grow back at 6m

I don't really think im losing more than I typically do?@Mrsdaredevil: I need a haircut too! Pondering if I should just trim & layer or chop it back short again....

@regberadaisy: I chopped it short and it was so liberating! I love my short hair and it is a lot less hair for LO to yank on.

I started losing around 3 month pp and it's still coming out. It's not a whole lot but from 5 month pregnant until then, I barely lost a few strands a day so this is weird. I never had hair in the drain after showering while I was preggo!

I think I started losing hair the normal pre-baby amount right away? I lose a few strands daily, but did notice that I lose less when my hair's shorter/layered.

I started losing clumps of hair at 4 months PP...It stopped at around 7 months PP.

I started losing hair just a few days ago.... that is 4+ months post partum! I thought I was in the clear as well.... darn.

I didn't lose any the first time, but I'm 4.5 months pp with Wonder Baby and my white streak is almost a bald patch!
I freaked out a bit. Got a different haircut...bought some dye...

Glad to hear there is an end to it, I'm losing tons... it started pretty much the day he turned 4 months- he finally grew some and I'm losing it!
I haircut is in order, he is grabbing onto my hair now too when I carry him around, and losing it that way too.
