Do you still use it on your toddler? I tried last night and I didn't have any luck.

we stopped a long time ago - maybe around 3-4 months? I still had it from the hospital and my friend convinced me to cut it open (when that thing was going around with the photos of all the mold within the bulb syringes) and mine was 100% clean, looked straight out of a package! I was kind of annoyed.
We had another bulb syringe that came with a Little Remedies kit, but it really stinks..doesn't suck anything. i tried to use it once when LO was sick in Sept but it didn't do anything, really. aside from piss her off!

I WISH I could use it on my toddler, he wants no part of it. It had a good run between 9 and 15 months though.

@jh524: That's awesome! haha!
DS is almsot 4 months and always had HUGE super thick boogers every day. Not sure I can stop using it.

@jh524: my DD loves it too! Tilts her head back and everything.
We still use it occasionally if she had a stuffy nose. She's 9.5 months.

Actually I just stopped using it this weekend because my Dr said it can make the inflammation worse! She told me to only use it if she's having difficulty breathing (duh), but using it to get out the occasional booger is counterproductive.

DD is 16 months and we still use it. She fights, but feels so great after:)

Kind of gross but I watch a five year old who is awesome at doing it herself with a bulb syringe and has been since 2.5. She far prefers it to actually blowing her nose. We limit it to the times where she is really congested so it doesn't irritate her nose but it is a nice trick to have when she is miserable!
