I couldn't wear them for a couple days after a day of painting the nursery. My hands were really swollen from the heat/painting.

I'm 22 weeks along now and am able to wear them, but it is a struggle to get them off at night... I'll probably last a few more weeks at best.

I stopped wearing mine about a month ago (28-29 weeks) after a few scares that i might not be able to get them off. at first i was freaking out about it, but now i feel like such a slug i don't even care at all! i'm just going to wait until it's all over to put them back on.

i even tried putting a bracelet on the other day...NOPE-DH had to squeeze it off my hand. my hands don't even look swollen is the craziest part.

I’m 27 weeks and mine are still on but they are SNUG! I don’t think I’ll make it to 30 weeks before they’re off.

I took them off at 30 weeks but have them back on today (32.5 weeks). I just have to monitor the condition of my fingers to make sure they don't get stuck!

Mine are still on at 27 weeks, and they come off easily for the most part..except if I'm outside in 90+ degree weather! I figure though, that in a few weeks, I probably won't be able to wear then anymore.

@jessiejo17: My MIL had to have hers cut off too. EVERY time I talk to her she asks me how my rings are fitting. She's very concerned that I'm going to swell out of them!

Mine stopped fitting at 16 weeks! Yup major swelling early on

I don't remember exactly, but probably somewhere around 30-32 weeks? My fingers had started swelling up with the head justenough that it was taking me over an hour to get my wedding band off and I really didn't want to have to have it cut. After I finally got it off I started wearing it on a chain around my neck...which turned out to be the right move since my fingers have resembled sausages pretty much ever since.

I wore mine up until the last month of pregnancy. Then i could only wear my wedding band...it was just too much with two rings.

Don't be disappointed if you can't get your rings back on right away. It took 8 weeks before all the swelling finally went down.

@MamaMoose: My sister's was actually after she gave birth, she wanted to wear her rings on her first date night without her daughter and put them on when her DH wasn't looking. By the time they arrived at my parent's hosue to drop off my niece, they had to call the hospital and get advice, her finger was turning blue. She was devestated and so sad.

I wore them the entire pregnancy with DD & am hoping I will be able to this time

The heat has to play a big part in the swelling! I never had to take mine off, but I was pregnant in the cooler months.

Sometime in the 3rd tri. I'm 7 wks pp and still can't wear them.

I only had to take mine off for the last four days before delivery, and that is because it got super hot out.

At 22 weeks, they still fit without issues, even in crazy hot weather. I've always wanted a cheap artsy band (sterling silver or something) that I can wear when there's the potential to damage my expensive stuff, so maybe I'll finally end up with one of those when these stop fitting.

with LO I kept my rings on until I went to the hospital. This time around they still fit at 17 weeks!

It was probably about 25 weeks or so. You are in the DFW area, if I recall, which is where I am as well. Last summer's heat did me in for the water retention during pregnancy.

I got a sterling silver band from WalMart of all places. I think we spent $20 on it and it was so scratched up by the end of my pregnancy.

Mine have been off for about 3 weeks, so since about 25 weeks or so. I also never sleep in any jewelry and some nights they were very uncomfortable - my set is quite wide when worn together though. Before that I was trying one ring or the other because the 2 together hadn't been comfortable since closer to 20-22 weeks for me.

I'm so happy that I have a nice ring that I usually wear on my middle finger of my right hand (an aquamarine) that I've been wearing on my ring finger. It's totally big enough even for some extreme swelling and I've even had compliments on it!

Is anyone else nervous having their rings not on? I hate not having mine right there to check on. I'm actually thinking about getting a safety deposit box because with the weight I've gained I don't imagine I'll be back in them for at least a month if not more after baby comes.
