I joined a mommy group so I can make some mommy friends. LO will be 3 weeks this weekend. Is that too soon to start attending meet ups?

I started bringing A to my mom's group at 8 days

i took him to a church thing where there were kids galore, and a few other newborns at 4 days old. i was going nuts not having left the house in 4 days!!

I went to a moms group when LO was 2 weeks. I don't think it's weird at all!

Mmmm instantly when we got home? DD has an older brother who is 13 months older. He may be a toddler but he was still very much baby at the time!

I would totally do this if there was a group in our area!

I walked with other moms starting at 3 weeks and that was mostly bc I didn't feel ready to "exercise" until then. I would've done it sooner assuming the babies weren't sick!!!

I waited 8 weeks to go public places per our pediatrician...but there is no possible way I'll be able to do that with this one since I have to go back to work at least at 6 weeks out.

We went to our first baby group at 3 weeks and it was great for me and good for him (I think!).

I didn't go but it had nothing to do with infection/not wanting to be around other babies! It was because the one I was thinking of going to met in the morning and I am not a morning person...no way I could get ready and out by then!
If you're interested and can go, go! The babies won't be interacting anyway.

Go! We were around other kids/babies within a week.
