My LO will be 1 in just 3 weeks... does that mean he will be considered a toddler?! Where did the time go? Is there an official cutoff when a baby becomes a toddler?

Mine is just under four weeks away from age 1, and I've been thinking the same thing! I guess I've been thinking past age 1 is toddler, she just seems like a toddler now!

I always thought that it is when they toddle! So just after my dd turned 1 she started taking a few steps then walking full on, she became a toddler.

Agreed with gracecat! After mine started legitly "toddling" he was a toddler in my eyes.
My sil considers 18 mo toddler.
But I always remember thinking once they pass first bday they are technically toddlers
