I'm 9 weeks and my clothes still fit just fine, including jeans. How soon did your jeans get too tight?

Around 13 weeks my jeans got snug and I bought my maternity jeans, which I am still using at 29 weeks.

I wear my jeans super tight to begin with, so around 8 or 9 weeks they were uncomfortable. By 10 I was DONE trying to wear them and exclusively in maternity jeans. I didn't have to switch to shirts until 22 weeks. I still have a couple shirts/dresses I can still wear that aren't maternity (just very flowy).

I was in maternity pants by nine weeks. I carry my weight in my torso.

I'm 10.5 weeks and I can get into most of my jeans in the morning...but they're MISERABLE by the end of the day and if I try putting them ON later in the day, forget it. Hello, bloat!
I have enough stuff, I think, to get me through a while longer without maternity pants. But we'll see how long I last on that. I know lots of people to went to maternity pants between 10 and 13 weeks!

I wear jeggings & leggings, and at 15 weeks I feel uncomfortable, not that they're too tight since the waist is elastic afterall, but I either have to pull them underneath the bump which feels weird, or pull them up as high as possible but it cuts my bump in half. I probably won't buy maternity jeans/pants/leggings till after summer though; hopefully I survive in dresses all summer!

Like eight weeks. Crazy bloat, a short torso, and tummy chub = maternity pants!

By 12 weeks I was in pretty much all maternity pants. Skirts and dresses went much longer. I was wearing a dress at 6 months pregs that I still can't really fit into now!

13 weeks. Similar to @Avivoca: I carry my weight in my torso, so 13 weeks was the point of no return. You couldn't pay me to get back into my normal suit pants.

Pretty early on due to bloat. I just the hair tie trick to hold my jeans up, but transitioned into maternity pants around week 14?

Hah, I was in maternity pants (or did the whole rubber band around the pants loop thing) by 8 or 9 weeks.

14 weeks. That's when i switched over to maternity jeans.
With my first pregnancy, i could stay in my regular jeans and use a maternity band up to 17ish weeks.

11 or 12 weeks and my jeans were a no-go. I can still wear a few pants, but since it's summer, I've switched over to skirts and dresses. Thank goodness!

Started feeling snug at 12 weeks, went a few more weeks with hair ties and a belly band, finally switched over at 15 weeks, but still wear some pre-pregs with the belly band now at 22 weeks.

Things got snug at 10 weeks, now at 13 weeks, I'm stretching the life out of my work pants by wearing a belly band.

I'm the odd man out- I'm still wearing all of my pre-preg clothes at almost 19 weeks. This is pregnancy #2. Pregnancy 1, I was in maternity clothes by 15 weeks.

I'm a weirdo like @mariej: I was in my regular jeans until about 18 or 19 weeks.

I was really sick and lost a ton of weight but what I found was by 8-10 weeks I couldn't stand anything being snug on my belly so it either had to be super soft or sit really low, dresses were also good.

I'm still in most of my old clothes but it just varies. Some things fit and some things don't. I really don't like things snug on my lower belly and I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow.

@LindsayInNY: Good bump! I have been wondering the same thing. My bloat is out of control plus I eat all the time to combat the morning sickness. I feel less silly about wanting to be in maternity pants after reading this.

I bought some maternity pants around 8 weeks because the bloat made anything pressing on my belly uncomfortable even though my regular pants still fit fine. For the same reason, I've worn a lot of dresses through pregnancy so far. Im not sure exactly when my pants stopped fitting, but the Bella band or hair tie trick with a long shirt can carry you pretty far - i just really don't like anything pressing on belly!

I'm 7.5 weeks and currently in maternity jeans... i've just adjusted the internal elastic and button to the snuggest fit, and fold over the panel. can't handle normal jeans, too painful at the moment.

I definitely am not wearing certain jeans here at 15w. I'm cycling between a pair of stretchy jeans, another pair of jeans that were less tight from the beginning, & 3pr stretchy pants. I did start using a hair band on the non-stretchy jeans, & it's been nice to have a little extra room. I bought a pair of maternity jeans at a consignment shop, but haven't broken them out yet.

I am still wearing pre-pregnancy jeans at 23w3d, but they are cut in such a way that the waistband is below my belly. I am carrying a bit high, although I'm not very large yet for this stage in my pregnancy compared to some other friends. Still, for higher-waisted and fitted dressy and casual pants I started having a problem around 13-15 weeks, which is when I switched over to maternity pants. I still have lots of pre-pregnancy tops and sweaters that I alternate with some maternity shirts.

Ha, I'm in maternity jeans and tights now at 6.5 weeks! This is my second though, for my first I didn't get anythjng maternity until closer to 15 weeks. I could probably still fit into my regular jeans, but not comfortably.

I got maternity work pants early. Started wearing them at 7weeks. I didn't want any pressure on my abdomen with morning sickness. Plus, I figured I would really get my money's worth!

I pulled out the maternity pants at 7 weeks this time with #2. I'm 13 weeks tomorrow and still no bump.

All depends on the pregnancy the first time was early 10ish weeks, this time I'm still easily wearing all my pre-preg clothes at 16+ weeks and they're the same size as the first pregnancy I lost all weight in between

I'm 16 weeks and still in my regular clothes, but I do have a couple of pairs of jeans that I am avoiding till I am ready to break out the belly band. I mostly wear skirts and dresses for work, and I think the most surprising thing has been that I am still 100% comfortable in regular tights. I'm quite tall though (5'11") so it may just be taking me longer to show than most.

For pants: 12 ish weeks the first time around and about 8 weeks this time. I cannot stand the feeling of anything on my stomach!
