How old was your LO when they started finding their hands? My LO is 3 weeks old and is so surprised when she sticks her hands in her mouth. She's been doing it more and more often, and it's pretty funny.

They found their hands pretty early as well! I have lots of pictures of them with their hands near their mouths or faces. DD was even sucking her thumb in utero during an U/S. I miss those days!

DS has always had a love affair with his hands. At 3.5 months, he's taken it to a new level of fist devouring, alternating with holding out his hand and staring at it.

DS is 3mo and loves to suck and chew on his fingers! It is adoreable and gross all at once.

Around now (11-12 wks). He looves his hands in his mouth!

He's 13 weeks and just starting to discover his hands. He sucks on them a lot and I even saw him starting at his hand once. I'm not quite sure if he's completely figured out they belong to him yet.

He has had his hands in his mouth since around a month and a half. Now he is amazed when he looks at them and puts his fists in his mouth. His feet amaze him too. He is 3 months.

DD has always had her hands in her mouth but only lately (11weeks) has she "noticed them". She will stare at one hand for a while with this "whoooa" look on her face...she looks like she is stoned!

I'm not sure about her hands but I remember when LO was about 2 months old, she discovered her arms and would lay on her back with her arm extended straight toward the ceiling and just stare at it. She kind of looked like the Statue of Liberty, and it cracked me up!

LO is 3 1/2 months now, and has been in love with her hands since the beginning. We could never swaddle her arms down beacuse she had to have her hands by her face at all times or she went nuts. Her love affair now is sucking on both hands...at the same time.

Around 2.5 months, and then his hands and his mouth became BFFs. It cracked me up, he would suck on his fist, take it out and stare at it, all slobbered on, with this look of absolute wonder on his face, and then would frantically shove it back in. Now it's mostly his fingertips and thumb in his mouth, not the whole fist, but it's still pretty frequent.
