DS was 2 when we first cut his hair. His hair was shaggy but not terribly long. We cut DD's hair around 18 months.

We also held off until 2. He had lovely toddler curls, but eventually I could tell it was annoying him because he was constantly swiping it away from his face. Now that his first cut is growing out a bit, though, it seems like he still may have the curls if we let it go again.

She just turned 2. I waited a long time too, I didn't want to cut her baby hair. But her bangs were ridiculous and in her face all the time.

We're thinking about it now at 16 months. It's starting to strongly resemble a mullet, but I just can't bring myself to have it cut. People keep bugging us about it.
