LO is 11.5 months and she has not taken her morning nap all week...she's also crawled, pulled herself up, stood by herself, and cruised this week too, so I think that's been a big part of it. She's exhausted by10am but will not sleep. I'm hoping she goes back to 2 naps.

I think it was around 12-13 months? It was a really stupidly hard transition, because he refused to stay awake any longer in the morning. And really crappy because he went from two 1.5-hr naps to one 1-hr.

Around 14 months he started really fighting the afternoon nap / wouldn't take one even if I left him in his crib an hour. We transitioned around that time but it was a super rocky transition. We went from 1.5 hrs in the morning and 1 in the afternoon to a single 1.5 hour nap (but longer night sleep). There are days I think he'd be better off just taking a morning nap, but I'm a SAHM and need toddler classes, etc to keep me sane and all of them are in the morning.

10 months! I actually liked it because we could do more things, and then she would take one nice long nap instead of two short naps.

Leo is in this process now - some days he will take 1 super long nap, other days he takes 2 shorter ones.

around 13 months I decided to switch him after he spent a few weeks either not sleeping for his afternoon nap, or sleeping super long and not sleeping at night!

15 months for Charlie and 17 months for olive. They both could have taken two naps longer, but we pushed them to one because they got more sleep that way.

Wow, surprised at these responses, but happy about them cuz I can't wait for DS to drop to 1 nap so we can all do more together as a family.
We dropped DD to one nap at 20 months, but probably could've moved it to 1-nap around 17-18 months.

Right at her first birthday. It was a struggle just to make it that long.

My 18 month old still takes 2. morning one is about an hour and the afternoon one is usually 2

Around 11-13 months she was still on 2 naps but most days she wouldn't take her morning nap (she would have quiet time in her crib for an hour though)...but probably very 3-4 days she did take a morning nap. Around 13-14 months we went to one nap

Not until we started full time daycare and transitioned to the "toddlers" so 15 months.

Right before turning 2 years. We transitioned to one nap since DS was starting daycare and they only do one nap there.

Oh wow, my son was napping twice a day for a very long time, almost 2 years old!

we're at 10 months also--LO takes one nap at daycare but that is not really enough for him (he's always slept very poorly at daycare). on the weekends he still takes at least 2 naps each day, and i don't see a transition to 1 nap yet.

DS is 14 months and still on 2 most of the time but usually at one is very short or he will skip one altogether. I guess we are just starting the transition but not ready to totally give up one of them just yet. Problem is he gets tired in the morning because he doesn't sleep long enough at night but has a hard time staying asleep. By the 11 or 12 he is a disaster if he doesn't get his morning nap.

DS is 18 months and still doing 2 naps a day 90% of the time. He's just so much happier when we do 2...and keeping him awake when he's grumpy in the mornings is exhausting for me.

15 months. It was a really tough transition at first, but now LO takes one 2-3 hour nap a day.
