How old was your LO when they switched to a new car seat? I know some of the convertible ones can hold babies at 5lbs, but since she can't sit up yet, it seems to be a pain to have to carry her everywhere. I'm just curious to see when others finally transferred their LO from the infant car seat to a regular car seat.

She started using it around 3 months but just as a back up. She moved to it full time around 10 months.

7 months and 17 lbs!

She's still in it at almost 12 months, but she's almost 19 lbs so we're going to move her to a convertible seat soon. That thing gets heavy!!

we'll probably switch her in the summer or early fall, I'd think. She's a heavy one. haha.
