LO is 6 weeks and I follow his sleep cues so roughly every hour I'm putting him down for a nap. As soon as he yawns/gets quiet or rubs his eyes (usually after I miss a couple yawns) I swaddle him, put him in the rock n play, turn on the white noise machine, and rock. Sometimes I have to shush and add a paci. Usually this takes anywhere from 10-30 minutes, most of it him closing his eyes then opening them again over and over. I feel like this is so much work each day and especially when sometimes he only stays asleep for 30 minutes.
When was it easier for you? And if your LO always went down easily... Please don't respond, I kind of hate you. (Jk... Sorta.)
I'm nervous too about daycare in 6 weeks because they will not do all this. Although I know the developmental leap between 6 and 12 weeks is probably a lot.
