stranger anxiety started with us right around the same time! no one could believe it. she was generally okay with my parents though..I was over there most days hanging out because i was bored home by myself (DH was working like, 60 hour weeks at that point).

the stranger anxiety faded by 9 months or so, I think..only to come back around a year. ugh. it's not even STRANGER anxiety - she smiles and talks to strangers! but people that she thinks might take her away from me or something. ILs, extended family, etc. she freaks.

My mom nannied B when I was working so he is really comfortable with my parents. He doesn't know DH's parents as well but he is still really social with everyone. I've been wondering when stranger anxiety will hit. Right now, he will go to anyone.

around 4 months he recognized them!

We're still working on it at 15 months old. He sees my parents about every 6 weeks. We're seeing the inlaws for Christmas. It's going to be a lot of stranger danger there. After Christmas, LO is staying with my parents while we work, so hopefully he'll be happy around them.
