When she started walking. We would put her in some soft soled for special occasions, like Christmas Eve for pictures but otherwise she was barefoot or had socks on.

Robeez at 10 months when she started walking, harder soles after a year when she was more confident/stable on her feet.

At almost 15 months, D still only wears shoes for special occasions, but he's also not walking yet. He is cruising, though, and hopefully walking is not far behind, so I am now shopping for early walker shoes for the summer, since I know they'll be taking the kids outside at daycare and he'll need something on his feet. Hoping to go to Stride Rite this weekend for their BOGO50% sale this weekend!

We started Robeez around six months. She was really rough on her toes when she started crawling. Soft soles around 10 months when she was walking and hard soles around 12 months.

Robeez and some for fun occasionally starting around 6 months. More regularly when we go out since about 9-10 months.

Yesterday! She's 11 months and doing a ton of cruising but not walking yet. We got her fitted at a local place that specializes in properly fitting babies and kids.

About 10-11 months when she started cruising and would want to finger walk when we were out and about. I never put shoes on her before then-- she was either barefoot or wore Trumpettes if she needed to look "fancy."

hm, maybe about 10 months for soft-soled shoes (when daycare told us to), and 12 months for real shoes (because, again, daycare told us to). basically if daycare didn't tell us how to do things our 14 month old would still be going around barefoot.

We'd occasionally put shoes on LO once he started cruising (9/9.5 months), but we didn't put them on him consistently until he started walking at 12/13 months.
