It happened sort of by itself. Normally he would 'cat nap' around 4pm on our way back from our chores in town, and he just stopped doing that. So now I don't 'try' to put him down at 4 anymore, and we just do a slightly earlier bedtime. I like it.

Sometimes my 6-month-old will take two naps, but it would be two long naps (2 hours with the first and then 3 or 4 hours for second). Otherwise, he would take 1-2 hour naps 3x a day. I did read on babycenter.com that they should be taking 2 naps a day around 4 months. I was like, "what?"
