I meant to ask the doctor today but I forgot. The questionnaire I had to fill out said that they just like for one year olds to be doing one gesture and she is clapping now. She just started clapping more around 11.5 months though.

She's waved a couple of times but not often at all. And she's pointed maybe once. She's on track with everything else though and they don't seem to think she's off track, at least by their questions. She's hit more physical milestones earlier and seems to be trying to talk more. She's never really gestured to communicate, even though I've tried to get her to.

When did your LO wave and/or point more regularly? I've seen babies a few months younger wave and it honestly frustrates me when people try really hard to wave at her. I know they just want to see her wave back but she's not going to. She smiles and I just tell them she's shy. But some people will seriously try to get her to wave like 10 times (people as in cashiers and/or other customers at stores). They act confused when she's not waving back. People have also tried to get her to point before.
