DS' fell off at 2 weeks, there was some discharge/drainage but dried up over night, after which we were able to wipe it away during a bath

E's fell off 14 days after he was born. It was a little bloody and raw-looking (but didn't seem to bother him) but it was fine after a bath.

DD's fell off yesterday - she was 5 days old! There wasn't any blood or anything, it just looks like a little outie!

Four weeks UGH!

It fell off when LO was 8 days old but man, oh man did it stink to high heaven for a day or two before!

I think around 2 weeks. I cried. It was her last bit of connection to her being inside of me for so long, she was really womb free I think my husband thought I was crazy crying about the yucky stump.

@Alivoo01: if its still bleeding I wouldn't give him full on baths. I would sponge bathe him and clean his belly button multiple times a day with alcohol wipes until the bleeding stops.

6 days (: on Christmas morning. I was a little surprised but no blood and it looked healthy.

Exactly 2 weeks. There was a bit of blood and a tiny bit of discharge. It was normal by the next day. We were told to wipe it clean with a warm washcloth and that once the bleeding stopped, he could face a bath.

@Alivoo01: Xander's fell off around 2 weeks and it was similar to what you're describing. There was blood in his belly button and we'd clean it and then discover more later. It didn't seem to bother him, and we stopped noticing it after a week or two.

3 weeks. There was definitely some gross gooey-ness and crustiness left behind. It bled a little a few days before.

It took about 3 weeks. There was some crustiness left behind that was eventually washed out, but no blood.
