Our parents talked on the phone a few times after we got engaged but they did not meet until 3 weeks before the wedding.

College graduation! We arranged for a group dinner. We were engaged 2.5 years later. Our moms saw each other again at the bachelorette weekend but our dads didn't see each other again until the wedding weekend. It is hard when our families live a 12 hour drive apart

Before we were dating our moms met, but I was 15 and he was 17 at the time
DH was in a small car accident on the way to my house and my mom drove me out to it and met MIL then.

They live across the country from one another, so they didn't meet until 5 months after we were engaged and 9 months before the wedding. My folks flew up and stayed with his for a long weekend.

They met briefly after we were only dating for 5 months at an important function for DH! The next time they really saw each other was probably at our engagement dinner where they 'officially' met again

Before we ever even got engaged! We all love within ten minutes of each other & I am very close with my family & we were living with his parents. He graduated college & we had a celebratory dinner where our siblings & parents were able to meet.

They were good friends well before DH and I got together...they used to have dinner parties, etc. DH's younger sister is my childhood (and still today's) BFF. It's nice because when they come to town they love hanging out with my fam!

2 nights before the wedding when they all were in the same city for the first time.

2 days before the wedding! They live across the country from each other. And DH's parents live out in the STICKS - 3-4 hour drive from their house to the closest airport, then 2 flights (can't fly anywhere direct).... so traveling to/from where they are is a huge pain. And it's like an 18 hour drive.

They met when we were still dating...about a year after we started. They actually met on the day my dog died, so it was kind of a good icebreaker!

A couple of mths after we got engaged. My parents had just moved back to our home state a mth after we got engaged. Otherwise they pribably would've met before

About 9 months after we started dating. We were considering a cross country move together (well, I was planning on moving to be with him in his city a few months later) and we thought we should introduce our families. It was quick, but we knew we would eventually get married, so we thought it was a good time to make the introductions.

My parents are divorced, but my mom met my in-laws at least a year before the wedding. My dad didn't meet them until about a month before the wedding.

I think it was at a Christmas party we hosted. We'd been living together for a while & we all live in the same area, they really should have met earlier but some ppl were in denial
