At almost 14 weeks, my jeans still fit.. barely. I've noticed that the legs of my jeans have definitely gotten tighter.
I think I have 1-2 weeks tops before I need to put a hair tie through the button hole of my jeans!

16 weeks. I could still button them just fine, but the legs were too tight.

I'm over 16 weeks and some of my jeans are uncomfortably tight around the tummy. All of the shorts are still OK, at least. I should still have a few weeks before maternity clothes become necessary.

I'm 24 weeks and mine still fit, but usually without the top button done. I'm not a tight jean gal though, so I think that's why!

Ha! I'm 11 weeks and totally not interested in wearing my regular jeans anymore. The hair tie trick just feels weird. I can't stand to have anything tight on my belly right now.

I noticed that my jeans were getting unwearable right around 18 weeks. I tried using the Bella Band and I was just so uncomfortable- it felt like my pants would fall off if I made one too-sudden move! For me, the tightness was mostly in the tummy, but just not comfortable at all.

I started doing the hair tie trick at around 10 weeks I think. I could still button them, but it gave me a gross muffin top, and using the hair tye helped. At 10 weeks pp, I still do that sometimes if I feel particularly muffin toppy that day :p. I still have a few pounds to go so hopefully I can ban the muffin top!

I was definitely using the hair tie trick by 12 weeks. By around 22 weeks even the hair tie wasn't working too well, so I graduated to my maternity jeans.

@Mrsdaredevil: Wow!! That is amazing to me!
Right around 10 weeks I stopped wearing my jeans...just was not comfy. I still wore work pants with the hair tie trick but bought maternity pants soon after and loved them!

I think I made it to about 24 weeks too before the hair tie thing became uncomfortable. Finally gave in and bought a pair of maternity jeans last week (at 31 weeks O_o) after living in leggings

I managed to wear my fave jeans until about 23 weeks but at almost 25 weeks I've now popped and the jeans have had to go to the back of the draw!
I employed both the rubber band trick and a belt as they fit everywhere but the waistband.

9 weeks for my regular jeans, and my weird low rise jeans that had a loose waist I wore past 30 weeks.

About 16 weeks...the legs fit fine (and actually still do at 22 weeks) but I couldn't button them comfortably anymore. I can still wear them if I use a belly band.

I wore mine with a rubber band up until 21 weeks, but then I invested in maternity jeans for comfort and never looked back. I probably could have still worn my pre-pregnancy jeans for a few weeks, but at that point comfort was more important.

I am 26 weeks and can still wear mine! Some pairs with higher waists) I have to leave unbuttoned with a belly band, but the legs fit. Other pairs with lower waists I can button beneath my belly. But honestly, it's so freakin' hot up here (in NE) that I've been wearing my maternity shorts. my pre-preg shorts are shorty-shorts and I feel silly!!

I'm 18.5 wks now and they still fit, but they're uncomfortably too tight. So I used the hair tie/rubber band trick once. It's too hot for jeans now, so by the time fall rolls around, I'll be in maternity jeans for sure!

18 weeks, and I had to unbutton them after eating at the restaurant. That was the end of that!

18 weeks. I was back in them 6 weeks after delivery but haven't actually worn them much because the post baby muffin top is atrocious.

I fell bad now. I stopped wearing mine around eight weeks. I could get them on and buttoned but they were tight and of the muffin top. They were a bit snug to begin with. I can still wear my work pants and my shorts that are main of cotton are khaki type material. They still button and zip but they are getting a bit close now at almost 12 weeks. I feel funny in them unless I have a long shirt on. Dresses especially patterned ones have been my friend for work clothes.

My jeans were already tight when I got pregnant, so I haven't worn them one since I got a bunch of maternity clothes at 7 weeks.

@kayakgirl73: Don't feel bad! Every woman is different! I'm 11 weeks and have really only gained about a pound or two, but I'm so bloated that most of my pants don't fit without the hairtie trick or a belly band. I have only tried one pair of jeans in the past couple of weeks, but they are REALLY low rise, so they're ok so far. None of my shorts fit, though. None. So I'm living in dresses on the weekends until I can get out and buy a pair of maternity shorts.

@kayakgirl73: You're not alone! I needed the hair tie for mine by week 10, even though I'd only put on a pound or two. My shorts still fit with a belly band, but it's not nearly as comfy as the maternity dresses I've bought.

I think I'm about ready to had to Maternity pants very soon. The regular stuff just isn't really comfortable. It's just that I would like to wait other two weeks or so to be out of the first tri before I tell work. Although my immediate supervisor knows, since I've had a ton of appointments due to IF treatment and my thyroid issues.

I was using a hair tie on my skinny jeans at week 12. My hips were more the problem than my belly. My looser jeans graduated to hair ties and bella bands at around 18 weeks.

Wow! It must really show I am new to this. I didnt know the hair tie trick. Noted! I am only 8 weeks so not worrying about this but interesting to read what it was for everyone.

I was using the hair tie trick around 8 weeks b/c of all the bloat. And I graduated to maternity jeans at 14 weeks since they were so much more comfortable.
